Frozen Food Truck

So, so she left her town after the summer
Stole the money from the bag of a Plummer
And moved straight to the big city she always dreamed to go

And after eleven years of slammer
For the last fourteen days of December
He took a train to the city where he was born

So they found themselves in the middle of the main street
Among passers by, dogs and Christmas trees
And their glances met sweetly across the busy road

And her mind went floating to years before
When as a child she dreamed of a true love
In a run down public housing in the suburbs

And now for the first time she looks at the doorway of a new life
And runs straight towards his arms

Too late she realises he’s not waving
But with both hands he’s just trying to warn her
About the frozen food truck that is running over her

Oh, your life once again is rolling over
