He’s in the bathroom, he’s having problems with the lack of hair
She stares dejected at the inefficacy of her new shaver
If the world was a little righter, her arm hair would be over his head
But in the world they’re living in, resources are not effectively shared
So at the date their prospects will have to, to be downsized
So they close their eyes and they dream away
That they don’t have to wake up every morning for a light grey job
That they’ve got a big house, a lovely husband or wife
And they can swim everyday in a pool filled up in wine
But then the waiter comes, and they order the cheapest beer
He nods to someone who doesn’t even turn ‘round and while he sips
He boasts ‘bout his contacts and then he finds out the wideness of her hips
She showers all her qualities she doesn’t actually possess
She could swear that now he’s so much uglier than she remembered
So after the date they know that it’s bleak but they can’t have more
So they close their eyes and they dream away
That they don’t have to wake up every morning for a light grey job
That they’ve got a big house, a lovely husband or wife
And they can swim everyday in a pool filled up in wine
But then the alarm rings, and another day begins.
